Delete your account & data

You can request deletion of your KnowBud account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and what happens when you do.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my account", from the email address linked to your KnowBud account (or, if you signed in with Google or Apple, from the email address of that account). We use the sending address to verify the request. We will confirm once deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

• Your account (email, display name, sign-in identifiers).
• Your learning data — progress, streaks, answers, and journeys you created.
• Your learner profile (personalisation facts).
• Voice audio and transcripts associated with your account.

Data is deleted or anonymised, except where we must retain it to meet a legal obligation (for example, billing records). Journeys you published to the community are unpublished as part of account deletion.

Deleting some data without closing your account

You can also ask us to delete specific data — for example your learner profile or voice transcripts — without deleting your whole account. Use the same email address above and tell us what you'd like removed.
